The son of an alleged New York City mobster who was shot to death at a McDonald's drive-thru in the Bronx in October is accused of calling a hit on his own dad.
Sylvester Zottola, 71, an alleged Bonanno crime family associate, was found inside his vehicle riddled with gunshots just before 5 p.m. Thursday, according to police. His car was boxed in when a gunman opened fire, sources told The New York Post in the fall. He had reportedly just ordered a coffee when he was shot.
The murder came just months after his son survived an apparent hit. His son Salvatore Zottola survived a shooting in July 2018, as pictured in the image above.
Now, another one of Sylvester Zottolas sons is accused of being one of the men behind the fatal hit on his dad and one on his own brother.
Anthony Zottola Sr., 41, is among four people arrested last week on murder-for-hire charges in connection with both plots,(snip)
The affidavit calls last year's McDonald's drive-through shooting " the culminating event in a series of violent episodes in which he and his older son[...]were targeted over the course of a nearly year-long period."
It claims that Anthony hired Shelton, an alleged Bloods gang member, to kill both his brother and dad. "Shelton, in turn, enlisted, the help of other Bloods gang members, including Cummings, Lopez, Peterson, and Snipe to fulfill the contract."
The complaint shows Anthony and Shelton allegedly exchanging coded text messages between each other discussing hits under the guise of talking about a movie set.(snip)
I saw the actor today he looks ready to finish the scene, Anthony messaged Shelton two days before the attack, referring to his dad as an actor, according to the complaint.Hopefully everyone is ready tomorrow to wrap it up.

It really is better than SB. I do have to admit I’m a sucker for the double cheeseburger though. The fries suck now.
Entertaining movie that starred the stunning Michelle Pfeiffer
Fake News! Real gangsters arent named Sylvester.
So do I. Not every day, but every once in a while, a good quarter-pounder hits the spot. And once in a blue moon I actually develop a craving for a Big Mac.
I've never felt the need to bash McDonald's, which to my mind has always served a genuine need.
LOL, I immediately thought of the scene from “The Godfather”
He goes to the drive up window, the car in front of him stops as he gets up to the take out window...another one pulls in behind him, and the MacDonald’s kid with the goofy hat disappears below the window...
LOL, didn’t see your post, but...yeah!
Hahahahahahahaha!
Their burgers - just plain burgers - are pretty damned good. Plus you might have some unique entertainment while waiting for them.
Beats the time I went to a Roy Rodgers with my uncle, and a psycho Bruce Lee who was high on coke went berzerk, complete with lots if cops, an actual oaddy wagon and an officer kicking Lee in the back, repeatedly, to get him into the paddy wagon. Still entertaining after nearly 40 years...but a mob hit would top that.
Wow... that sounds awesome. I’m a big fan of a thick burger, but the wife and kids like them really flat. I bought a cheap plastic burger press and started making stuffed burgers. Everyone likes those. I stuff mine with cheese and jalapenos. The wife likes cheese, pepperoni and a little marinara.
He got Zotted ???
Its amazing to me that the mob is even a thing any more...
That could cause a nasty burn.
I am surprised it took this many posts to mention the obvious in the headline.
Plus, in general their bathrooms are clean and available when you are on the road and need to make a pitstop.
It sure beats stopping at your state of XX rest stop frequented by homosexual men.
Did they shoot him “gangland style or execution style?” The Simpsons.
Stuff like that they usually hire outside the family. Then if the assassin becomes difficult or troublesome they hire somebody inside the family to get rid of him.
CC
Maybe it was gangnam style?
How do you keep the cheese inside the burger?
