I sort of have acess to a shop that would support a lift.

A few problems with that.

No power and most wiring is in bad shape. Quite a few roof leaks. Not my property. Full of junk that belongs to the owner.

It’s in a decent walk from me and right around corner from the police department.

my neighbor when i was in highschool owned a Chevelle SS in the 70’s- Saw a Chevelle SS sell for $180,000 on mecum’s last night

The corvettes were getting around $50 to $60,000 on the show last night- I think the stingrays were getting a pretty good $$ figure too-

...and the labor of love that went into it, along with money, countless hours, moving, having things that don’t work right....

Clearly a case where there was something 'special' about the car. Probably one of a relative few with some particular features or options, or thee was something really unusual about its history. Otherwise, that car wouldn't be worth anywhere near that amount.

Yeah i don’t know what it was- The 429 ‘Boss’ supposedly is worth a bunch of money- not sure how much- I don’t recall them discussing anything special about the engine or anything-

Here’s a page discussing some foreigner selling one for $480,000

Again, prices vary enormously on these old classics, depending on a wide variety of factors.

Yes i realize that-

Check out the 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible that sold in mecum auction https://www.mecum.com/lots/SC0519-378669/1970-plymouth-hemi-cuda-convertible/ - plus you’ll see the Boss I was talking about, but that one listed there at top sold for even more-
