It’s a 1970 Plymouth Superbird that could be would be worth $250,000 or more if it were in great shape, which it very much isn’t.
The rusted-out Nascar special gained attention on BarnFinds.com due to its rarity.
It’s one of about 300 that were equipped with a 440 six-barrel V8 and a four-speed manual transmission.
The seller says that the engine shows 48,000 miles and is original, but had the factory carburetor setup replaced with a dual quad unit at some point.
The ‘Bird’s B-5 blue paint and white interior combination make it even more uncommon, but the fact that its body is sketchy, it needs new floorpans and its signature nosecone is sitting across the yard from the rest of the car isn’t doing it any favors.
Knowing its potential value, the Massachusetts-based seller is asking an optimistic, yet arguably reasonable $70,000 firm to anyone up to the challenge of making it fly again.

I sort of have acess to a shop that would support a lift.
A few problems with that.
No power and most wiring is in bad shape. Quite a few roof leaks. Not my property. Full of junk that belongs to the owner.
It’s in a decent walk from me and right around corner from the police department.
Thw red camar is what i’m shooting for. Maybe cerakote racing stripes.

The corvettes were getting around $50 to $60,000 on the show last night- I think the stingrays were getting a pretty good $$ figure too-
Old enough now to know to appreciate SOMEONE ELSE’s classic car....
...and the labor of love that went into it, along with money, countless hours, moving, having things that don’t work right....
Clearly a case where there was something 'special' about the car. Probably one of a relative few with some particular features or options, or thee was something really unusual about its history. Otherwise, that car wouldn't be worth anywhere near that amount.
Yeah i don’t know what it was- The 429 ‘Boss’ supposedly is worth a bunch of money- not sure how much- I don’t recall them discussing anything special about the engine or anything-
