When I was a kid Wednesday was icecream day at pre K. It was also canned spinach day. You had to eat the spinach to get the ice cream. I NEVER got the icecream. I would not subject myself to the tyranny of witheld icecream. Give me liberty from spinach or give me no icecream was the motto of freedom loving kids. The horrific nature of green slimy canned snot haunts me to this very day. I am 50 years old.
LOL!
I remember one little girl who liked the canned snot so much that she scraped up every tiny shred. The teachers watched in amazement.
The fact you were strong enough to stand up to that crap at a young age is why you’re here - and not at some liberal whiny site. The kids who were bullied and ‘gave in’ are over at democrat underground...
I felt the same way my entire life, but discovered as an adult that I liked raw spinach with stems mostly removed in my salad.
My late parents could have saved themselves much grief before later discovering my younger brother’s caches of uneaten green slime in various house crannies.
