My nephew once worked for a shipping company. Ran their computer system. He realized they were making stops at ports and nothing was being taken off or loaded. And then there was a bust. So he switched jobs immediately. Shipping company ownership was questionable. People who paid employees was different than people who ran the company was different than the owner on record.
The workers were always kept in the dark. So they would have nothing to tell if there was a bust.

At his NYC fundraiser tonight, Joe Biden said that Georgia Sen. Herman Talmadge was “one of the meanest guys I ever knew.” But, he added, “At least there was some civility. We got things done.”
This was Herman Talmadge, then governor of Georgia, in the mid-1950s.

Can’t sleep. For some reason have been thinking about R. Was he there tonight?
Yup, hoping Pence snaps her up after a term as governor. Perfect resume.
The incivility of modern politics can be traced right back to Joe Biden, with the despicable treatment of Judge Bork in 1987 when he was nominated by Reagan for the Supreme Court.
At that time, the Dems were still a middle of the road, and fairly conservative party.
Between 1988 and 1991, their party was radicalized, and switched from pro-life to pro-abortion, and Bill Clinton became their candidate for the 1992 election.
It has been downhill ever since.
What was hidden from us, is that the Bushes/Clintons/Obamas/media all played for the same team—and it wasn’t us.
