Seems totally ridiculous that our government, and indeed Country, cannot ask a basic question of Citizenship in a very expensive, detailed and important Census, in this case for 2020. I have asked the lawyers if they can delay the Census, no matter how long, until the.....

.....United States Supreme Court is given additional information from which it can make a final and decisive decision on this very critical matter. Can anyone really believe that as a great Country, we are not able the ask whether or not someone is a Citizen. Only in America!

Census question is not over.

There is a SC session starting the first Monday in October, and there is plenty of time in 2020 to start the Census and get it done.

So got my errand done and decided my body really REALLY needed nourishment so stopped by Subway to get a sandwich to take to the shady area by a local lake.
There were four men in front of me. Three younger and one closer to out age. One of the boys had a “Make America Great Again” hat on and I complimented him. Ended up showing them pictures of the rally I attended (on front row) and sharing my compassion/kindness story of our president (after they bought my sandwich for me).
So great to know the young men fully support OUR president!

I've worked on the 60's census...70's,80's and I believe 90's and 2000. I know for a fact that its a disorganized mess every census. One gets trained...waits for weeks for the forms to come in and while waiting(depending on supervisor) you read books and later it was play on the internet while listening to your head phones. One never knew when the forms were coming in. So a delay isn't a biggy. AND if someone tries to feed you the lie that putting the question of US citizen on the form will make people not want to fill the form out....trying to say LEGALLY will be offended. BOLOGNA! Lie lie lie..pants on fire!

I had to say to the many illegals...I don't care of your legal or not..we just need to count you. Then you feed them the line that it helps knowing where schools and hospitals need to be and how to better target better road areas for heavy travel. I KID YOU NOT!..WE were encouraged to hurry and say...I don't want to know if your're legal or not.

The citizenship question was sent back to the lower court because it had not been heard at a lower court before. The SCOTUS rightfully sees itself as an appellant court. Trump administration tried to cut in line to the top. The SCOTUS COULD hear it again in October if lawyers push it. Shame they didn’t follow proper procedure

The Gerrymandering case is not a federal issue and constitutionally falls under states authorities.

I say you need to advise the White House lawyers. Even though I've not stayed at a Holiday Inn for many years. Maybe if the President would hire lawyers who graduated from colleges not on the Ivy League list but REAL colleges something would get done!!
