President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released about 3,000 border crossers and illegal aliens into the interior of the United States over the past week, slowing the process known as “catch and release” from the program’s massive levels in the last six months.

From June 18 to June 25, DHS released about 3,000 border crossers and illegal aliens into various American communities. The federal data indicates that DHS is releasing about 375 border crossers and illegal aliens every day — a 65 percent drop in catch and release since the first week of the month when more than 1,000 border crossers and illegal aliens were being released into the U.S.

Despite continuing to release border crossers and illegal aliens, DHS’s cutting down of catch and release comes after Trump struck a deal with Mexico to mitigate mass illegal immigration at the southern border. The deal dictates that border crossers seeking asylum in America must return to Mexico while they await their asylum process, rather than being released into the U.S.

My sis and BIL bought kilts when they went to Ireland/Scotland searching for family heritage/ancestors. THey purchased my BIL family tartan in Scotland
When in Ireland they visited the church our family had attended (all records had burnt in a fire). The rector of church took them to visit an older gentleman who shared family name, Gardner. Jen said when they walked in the both gasped— he could have been my father’s double He explained to them that the Gardners were not people who tilled the soil but men who guarded the royal family. They were known for their massive size, strength and fierceness They are said to have brought the pipes to Ireland. Irish pipes are different than the Scottish war and bag pipes. And much more melodious than the Greek pipes (which I don’t care if I ever hear again— pure noise IMO)

Wonder if Trumps mother had any Gardners in her lineage.

LOL.....I feel your (almost) pain!!

If they would just IMMEDIATELY cut off the remittances to Mex/Central America...or, at the very least, impose YUGE fees....a lot of folks would stop coming. That and end welfare for invaders. NOW!!!

Two very simple fixes. At least the remittances one should be easy enough :(

I am about 1/4 Scottish. No bagpipes or kilts here though.

Internet still misbehaving today. Just as well, my 15 year old grandson flew in from Colorado yesterday to spend a few weeks with his dad. I'm having them and my other son and family over for BBQ this evening. Haven't seen the boy in a year and wondering how much he's grown.

Former United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power may share an unflattering stage with a text-loving FBI agent and his Donald Trump-hating paramour from the bureau.

Fired agent Peter Strzok and ex-FBI lawyer Lisa Page are infamous today for texting on FBI phones their anti-Trump sentiments while allegedly having an affair. They played key roles in the now-debunked Russia collusion investigation.

It turns out that Power — the diplomat whose authority inexplicably was used to unmask hundreds of Americans’ names in secret intelligence reports during the 2016 election — engaged in similar Trump-bashing on her official government email, according to documents unearthed by an American Center for Law and Justice lawsuit. The conservative legal group is run by Trump defense attorney Jay Sekulow.

The discovery could add a new dimension — a question of political bias — to a long-running congressional investigation into why Power’s authority was used to unmask hundreds of Americans’ names in secret National Security Agency intercepts during the 2016 election. That practice of unmasking continues to grow today.
