"The acting commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection says he’s stepping down amid outrage over his agency’s treatment of detained migrant children.
John Sanders said in a message to CBP employees Tuesday that he would resign on July 5.
CBP is the agency that apprehends and first detains migrant parents and children crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. Lawyers who visited CBP facilities last week described squalid conditions: inadequate food, lack of medical care, and children trying to care for toddlers.
Six children have died since late last year after being detained by CBP.
Sanders pushed Congress to pass $4.5 billion in humanitarian funding. In an interview last week with The Associated Press, Sanders talked about how the deaths “impacted him profoundly.”

They think we’re a bunch of stupid hicks from the hills and rural areas of the country. Why else would they have delayed getting wideband service to the heartland. (What do those know nothings need internet service for?)
Our county will be first one in Indiana to have it installed and we have plenty of farmers who already installed satallite dishes. What about the remainder of the rural areas?

Too bad Sanders didn't care so much about FOLLOWING LAWS!! And, that by enforcing these laws....we prevent these people from attempting to invade.
And, too bad he doesn't have a heart for all of the $$$$$ and jobs that are taken away from struggling American citizens, for his beloved invaders.
Maybe he'll take in a few families, into his own home, if he feels so *impacted*.

So as I’m cleaning the morning my bible opened up to JOB. First thought. Maybe we should be thinking Job!Job!Job! instead of Jobs, jobs, jobs!
It’s difficult to stay positive when we are not in charge,
When things are not going our way. Trusting in the Lord to guide our lives is much more difficult than trusting in Trump and the white hats Both are good vs evil. We think we know how it turns out in the Bible or do we ?
The only think we can do is support each other, lift each other up and PRAY. Love is patient.
LOVE and Good thoughts to each of you! We will make it through this together! It’s getting better everyday and although we can’t yet see the end of the tunnel, we know it not just a hole in the ground. Keep praying. Praise God for the leaders we have!
If Eye the Spy and our president did have a prayer gathering similar to The Emmaus Walk at Camp David last weekend they were girding their loins mightily for the battle to come. Walking so closely with our old friend Jesus is very VERY powerful. Most powerful weekend of my life was my Walk, years ago.
