“Jack Evans, Metro chair, announces resignation, says he violated ethics”

FTA:WASHINGTON (AP) — The chair of the Washington, D.C., transit authority has announced his resignation hours after a legal memo became public and verified that he violated board ethics.

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Chair Jack Evans on Wednesday acknowledged he violated the ethics code by not disclosing a conflict of interest that netted him at least $50,000 a year from a local company. The District councilman previously denied any wrongdoing.

On Friday, FBI agents were searching Mr. Evans‘ home in Georgetown, WTOP reported. They told the station it was unlikely that any documents found would be unsealed.

The people that Ice will apprehend have already been ordered to be deported. This means that they have run from the law and run from the courts. These are people that are supposed to go back to their home country. They broke the law by coming into the country, & now by staying.

We are having rains and earlier an all out storm. Reagan hiding under our large coffee table. There's a throw on top of it making a tent for her. That's her safe place for when she gets scared. The first race is going on as I type.

Neighbor is 92, lost his wife a few years back, his fruit trees are overflowing, 2 weeks ago, we had apricots, took a lot up to Colorado with us. This past week it is peaches and they have to be picked before birds get them, have given grocery sacks of them to so any people, his wish.
They are so darn good.
Lemons and oranges coming up and then apples in the fall.

Off to some garage sales this morning and then a hockey game.

I am so waiting for some big BOOMS, running out of patience, expecting big, big BOOMS.

Round them up ICE and get them out, I want our country back.
