Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter talked about his recent health setback and his conversation with President Donald Trump, as he returned to teaching Sunday school in Georgia for the first time since breaking his hip.
Carter told people gathered at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains that he and his wife, Rosalynn, have nursing care at home and are doing fine. He thanked those present for their prayers and good wishes.
The 94-year-old Carter broke his hip last month at his home when he fell while leaving to go turkey hunting. He subsequently had hip replacement surgery. […]
“The main purpose of his (Trump’s) call was to say very frankly to me on a private line that the Chinese were getting way ahead of the United States in many ways,” Carter said.
He said he told Trump the U.S. has been in constant war for years, spending trillions of dollars, while China has invested in projects such as high speed rail that benefit its people. …

It’s good for him to be recovering so well under the circumstances.
However, there’s just no way I can say anything nice about him and what he has done to our country. When it comes to traitors, I hold a grudge. No matter how old they are. Living a long time does not excuse one’s transgressions against one’s country and one’s fellow man.
Isn’t that the truth! He’s telling the class the govt needs to be like the Chinese Communists, that God loves killing babies, and much like his buddy Obama, those jobs aren’t coming back, we’ll never have gas again, better put on a sweater! He is the second worse president in history thanks to Obama. On top of everything else, we have to hear his comments for 40 years, too bad he isn’t gone already.

Lest there be any confusion I believe that out-of-control federal powers have acclimatized us to a totally false narrative about the war. I would have been one and inasmuch as one can be a confederate today, I am one. I am also well aware that Carter was a gutless pansy, damaged our nation immeasurably, led terroists to kill thousands of innocents, and was a union man in most other ways. I was recalling that simple moment about the “lust,” which of course was not even a mentionable problem for one of our worst presidents ever.

I went to Americus High School, which is 8 miles south of Plains, GA. We were 'President Jimmy Carter's Home Representative Band'. We went up to Plains when Begin came to visit. Apparently he liked our Fight Song, because we played it something like 37 times in a row.
Okay, that's just giving y'all a little idea of where I'm coming from.
A family member somehow managed to get us invited to go to church with the president. That tiny little church. Probably doesn't seat more than a hundred people, I think my apartment's bigger than that.
We show up and Secret Service is going through all the Bibles, Hymnals, pulling up plants.
Service was about an hour, like they usually are, and afterward I got to shake his hand.
So that's my story. I shook hands with the president.
I know, he's evil and all that, but when you're 15, he's just the president.
And a dang good one, thanks.

That’s not accurate. A close family member was cured of cancer with the same drug, which is flat out amazing.
It’s possible Carter did get more preferential in treatment in 2015 as my story happened in 2017.
