The amusing part about ‘woke’ people is their obsessive juvenile sandbox/treehouse strictures on words, phrases, etc.

The letter “X” is triggering.

How about “Gay Propaganda”?
I re-watched the original “X-Men” from 2000 done by Gay Mafia head Brian Singer.
He really thinks Gays are superior.
Change the word X-Men to Gay and then watch the movie.

I saw an x-men movie or two. Thing is, I don’t know which ones I’ve seen and not seen, so I haven’t bothered to waste time renting a movie only to find out it’s one I’ve seen.
Same with transformers and Avengers. It becomes a mish-mash of movies.

They won’t change the name X-Men. It has too much brand value.

Well, the
X-Men name is a registered trademark of Marvel Entertainment and they have to keep using it to keep that trademark.
(An interesting side story: DC Comics has to continually produce Wonder Woman comics in order to keep the registered trademark on the character, or else the character trademark rights revert to the estate of William Moulton Marston, the creator of the character.)

We need to retire the name mankind. For our species we also need to replace the name Homo Sapiens (Wise Man) with the now far more appropriate name Homo Stultus (Stupid Man)

For a while they tried referring to the female heroes as the X-Wives but everybody kept assuming they were evil so they dropped it.

Hard to disagree with this. X-Men is so old school. What will the Tranies feel. And the Womens Lib Gang?
I suggest that X-Men be changed to Ex-It. Or perhaps Ex-Its.
Seems both logical and fitting.

Why, in this day of equality, can't women be X-Men?
We have seen several examples of it and not one of them complained about it.

We should not object.
Marvel is trying valiantly to become irrevelent.
Let them succeed.

Victoria is another liberal who makes declarations and knows nothing about the topic.
The success of X-Men, at least in the comics, was in large part because of its well-crafted female characters.
To focus on the name is pretty shallow.
