Is the name "X-Men" outdated? Marvel Studios' Executive Vice President of Production Victoria Alonso thinks so. During an interview about Captain Marvel's home video release, Alonso is asked about the future of the X-Men at Disney and goes on an interesting tangent.
"I don't know where the future is going," Alonso told Nuke the Fridge. "Its funny that people call it the X-Men... there's a lot of female superheroes in that X-Men group; I think it's outdated."

The success of X-Men, at least in the comics, was in large part because of its well-crafted female characters.

What she should concentrate on, is making good movies that are entertaining, vs. making PC statements that lecture you for 2 hours.
It is evil that the Left has taken control of the language and has replaced Webster’s with an Instagram dictionary. What is worse is that the rest of us have gone along with the program and quickly learn to speak and think in the Leftist Language. Language is the tool kit of thought and accepting the Leftist control of the language is restricting and molding thought to reflect the Totalitarian world.
Marvel should replace all male pronouns with the gender inclusive term “She, He, It and/or Transgender” or just use the acronym S.H.I.T.

Singer didn’t create X-Men ... Marvel did - 2 years before Singer was born.
Naming them “X-Babes” would make it sound like a porn movie. :)
“Professor Xavier’s School for Exceptional Children”, while technically accurate, might not have the same expectations as the original title. Also, there are those to whom the title “X-Men” might suggest a movie about the transgendered.
