McDonald’s new Worldwide Favorites menu — a roundup of the chains alleged top hits abroad — proves that the world’s worse off than we knew.
Each of five items, launched this week and inspired by different countries, is awful in its own way. But hideous qualities they all share make it convenient to flush the whole lot down the toilet at once — ghastly flavors, sickly mouth feel and industrial-tasting sauces.
If, as McDonald’s boasts, “Around the world is now around the corner,” no one should leave their house.

In Holland, a Stroopwafel would be a waffle with syrup. Not sure what a McFlurry is.

Really tired of all the would-be gourmets sneering at decent, cheap food, as served by McDonalds and other fast food places. Millions of Americans depend on those places for some of their meals. When did America become infested with so many snobs and blowhards determined to look down on their fellow Americans?

I actually started eating Filet O' Fish because I worked at a McD's when I was 16 and saw how they were made.
As an aside, this was a long time ago, but the McD's I worked at was amazingly clean. All my friends wanted to hear horror stories, but I had none.
I have been all over the world, and worked abroad for 22-years, in 10 different countries.... I’m the self-professed “Only person” at post who likes McDonald’s. To hear everyone I ever worked with beyond any doubt they all hated McDonalds. My question to all them over the years was how can they be Number 1 and nobody eats there? The question is not really a question because somebody besides me has to be eating there too for their sales and continued growth.
Count me in as I scrap up a Shekel, a euro, a pound, won or other currency because I’ve got a YEN for chump change McDonald’s sandwich Thursday!

I don’t see anyone looking down on their fellow Americans. A lot of us have spent decades eating at McDonald’s but the quality of their food has declined, and our tastes change as we get older and as we can afford better quality food.

Fast food makes me gag-all of it...
People can eat whatever they please-not anyone’s business-especially food nazis-I eat Paleo-all fresh and organic veggies & fruit, free range meat and eggs local butter and goat cheese, no empty carbs like pasta and bread and nothing processed, canned, boxed, etc-but that is my choice- it is healthy and I grew up eating that way-one size does not fit all...
But whatever the choice made-fast food is a carbfest that is contributing to the number of heifers waddling down the aisles in every grocery in a city or large town-you do not see heifers that size out here in the stores in BFE...
I like McDonalds. Usually get a double or triple cheeseburger from the value menu. Or an Egg McMuffin. Don’t eat out often, but a McDonalds is fine. Particularly when traveling.
Looking down on people that eat and like fast food lets them feel superior when they have no or few actual accomplishments that would justify that. And apparently some train their prissy dogs to think the same way.
