Very odd that they would BOTH die of the same condition at the same time.

Seems odd.
I saw a picture of the couple on a boat. She struck me as being extremely happy. It was a nice picture of a couple that, as far as I know, were a success story. Of course, one can’t tell too much from a single picture.

He 63, she 49 and they both die, in a hotel, at the same time. See if Forensic Files is interested in this one. They should be.

Yes, it is odd. Perhaps their state of health was compromised for that evening by using recreational drugs or alcohol.
I have a few ongoing conditions, any of which could strike me down at any moment, but I don’t expect them to. Many serious heart and respiratory conditions can be managed for years, barely effective one’s activity routine.
Something was going on that was not routine. Good to know it was not because Hotel Staff harmed them, but the Dominican Republic seems to be getting a lot of negative attention this year. Much of it deserved.

Does blood pressure medication + alcohol make a bad combination?
(no clue, just wondering)
Could be they partied a bit too hard for their years, but it’s surprising that they would both pass (unless they were taking the same stuff).
Sad, whatever the case.

Very odd that they would BOTH die of the same condition at the same time. Yeah. When I'm training emergency responders, one of the first things I tell them is "heart attacks aren't contagious." If two people are down, look for something environmental.

Exposure to aluminum phosphide/phosphine rat poison?
Phosphine is a respiratory tract irritant that attacks primarily the cardiovascular and respiratory systems causing peripheral vascular collapse, cardiac arrest and failure, and pulmonary edema.
