Does blood pressure medication + alcohol make a bad combination?

(no clue, just wondering)

Could be they partied a bit too hard for their years, but it’s surprising that they would both pass (unless they were taking the same stuff).

Sad, whatever the case.

Yes. Blood pressure meds and booze do not a good combination make. High blood pressure causes the heart pump harder at times to keep the blood flowing. That strains the heart and arterial walls. Alcohol causes the whole process to become much harder for the coronary system to function. At the very least one or both of them could have had a stoke but at least they would still be alive. There is/was obviously more going on here.
