Schiff told the New York Times that CIA Director Gina Haspel and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats should follow former Defense Secretary James Mattis’ lead and resign if they are asked to do things that jeopardize intelligence community members. “If it gets to a point they are asked to do things that are unlawful or jeopardize the men and women that work within the I.C., they should speak out and, if necessary, follow the example of Secretary Mattis,” said Schiff.

Any who would refuse the order should resign, I agree. And they should keep resigning until someone who will carry those orders out gets the nod. The rest of them should be tried for sedition.

This was not unexpected. The Dems are desperately encouraging resignations so they can accuse Trump and Barr of falsely “endangering national security”. This is just another attempt at creating distractions because they know Barr is going to reveal devastating evidence of deep corruption, lying, cover-ups, and gross abuses of power.

The main reason Trump had to issue the declassification order was due to stonewalling by Wray, Coats, and Haspel.
As Joe DiGenova said yesterday this is all out political war. But Barr has subpoena power; the stonewallers do not.
