Right in there with an insult to those who gave their lives for our country. No mention of Memorial Day on the splash page and instead of GOOGLE spelled out in colors, it is all gray

Google turned all their color off and the only color (and therefore emphasis or eye attracting element) on the page is the tri-folded flag and the link for the National Moment Of Remembrance. I think they got it more right than not.

Google is an international company. The rest of the world is not celebrating anything today.
It seems there are a group if you here at FR that cannot wait to be outraged by how they act.

Exactly right. Though I don’t use Google any more than necessary, myself. As another poster mentioned, I use DuckDuckGo.
