The only time I ever “see” CNN.
Always thought of it as the airport lounge equivalent of elevator music; turns out it’s the airport lounge equivalent of payola.
simple- so they can put people to sleep- make them miss their flight, where they’ll have to purchase another tickets
They do it to make your stomach so upset that you wont care that they dont serve food on the flight.
I think they actually pay the airports. A class action suit spreading disinformation would fix it.
Are airports public or private sector entities?
Because if it’s the former, then taxpayer money is being funnelled to CNN.
I read about this some time ago. CNN is not
commercially viable, and I don’t understand
how they stay in business.
If CNN didn’t play to a captive audience, they’d have no audience at all.
Because only members of the Inner Party have the privilege of turning off the telescreen.
CNN is one airport product I wouldnt mind seeing crashing and burning.
Because stupid people would throw a hissy fit if they had to see “Fox News”
Just another reason to never fly.
It’s so you’re too distracted to notice the airlines are rummaging through your luggage.
Because we don't change the channel when we see the TV on CNN.
Well, actually, I do. My phone has a universal remote channel changer. Almost always it will work the TV. It is iffy on a cable box but I get the station changed or a TV volume down/or turned off.
Liberals would rather die have let a conservative news source play to people under their thumb.
It comprises half their viewers.
I went through a few airports recently, Fox was playing as much as CNN.
I don’t know — I smell B.S. for some reason.
“At present, around 59 airports broadcast the network”
It seems EVERY airport broadcasts CNN. They’re trying to downplay that by specifying “CNN Airport Network.”
“And, while many networks do pay for the right to broadcast (sometimes exclusively) in airports . . .”
How “many networks” are we talking about?
Have you ever seen Fox or any other network in an airport?
A way to pad there viewer count for advertising dollars.
