I read about this some time ago. CNN is not
commercially viable, and I don’t understand
how they stay in business.

The fees from the cable and satellite companies (and their subscribers) keep them in business. They don’t care how many people watch, that only affects ad revenue. The cable companies pay them based on the number of hookups.

CNN stands for “Cable News Network”. It’s where it started out as being only on cable and has stayed on cable, just about all of them. Then satellite also. My point is, CNN is included in just about every package and is paid a certain amount of money for each subscriber. That equates to lots of money.

It’s part of the cable/satellite ripoff where you get to pay 80 bucks a month for 200 channels and only watch 10 or less.

We stopped that crap years ago and only stream what we want to watch and pay for only what we watch.
