I am still hopelessly behind in news/views. I am trying!

Leaving here on Sat or Sun. Will miss wifi, heating pads, baths and cooking. But I have done without for 5 years most of time and will do so again.

I complain too much. so many people have things worse.

Hope all are okay after the storms.. At my home today there was NO RAIN indicated. I have containers to catch it.. all empty. so the weather avoided us. I did water the hard way.. containers to plants today for those that needed it.

Prayers for our wonderful first and second families. We are surely blessed to have them

Senate approves supplemental, $19.1 billion disaster aid package to cover hurricanes/midwest flooding. The vote was 85-8. The package now goes to the House, prospectively Fri. The Hse will likely sync up with the Senate and okay the measure via voice vote or unanimous consent.
