CTV of Vancouver reported that numerous flyers had been posted at a local park which read, Many Muslims live in this area and dogs are considered filthy in Islam. Please keep your dogs on a leash and away from the Muslims who live in this community.
The citys mayor was questioned about the signs by CTV and said they had not been issued by the city. However, he said Whether they were produced by a well-meaning member of the Muslim community or by someone wanting to cause contention, the fact remains that there are current bylaws in place that enforce areas for dogs to be on leash, except in designated off-leash areas.
The Stream.coms John Zmirak reports that, as growing numbers of Muslims immigrate to non-Muslim countries, there have been similar calls to accommodate their cultural aversion to dogs.

To take over.
Islam means “submit” ... so that is why ...
To take over and kill infidels. We are the infidels.
Jewish people who keep kosher do not eat bacon. But they don’t tell other people not to eat bacon.
Muslims have a lot of religious laws that they are supposed to adhere to. And they try to force EVERYONE to adhere to them.
It’s far more of a system of political control than it is a real religion.
They invade us .
Then they demand we change and respect their religious customs, and culture.
They want us to accomodate them,
while they have no intention of assimilation !
Or perhaps I vomit at the sight of dead fish. How hard would it be to avoid the seafood department at the grocery or avoid the open fish market?
Not all that tough really. So...in the end it is not about the dogs. It is about something entirely different. Eff 'em.
Go back to the sh!thole you came from.
A dog is a man’s best friend, a muslim is not. Going after dogs might be a bridge too far, even for Canadians.
I won’t let my dog close to muslims as my dog is disease free and I want to keep him that way.
And yet, NOBODY accommodates MY aversion to their Death Cult!
Go figger! *SPIT*
Oh...and another thing; If that is what they want, then we can oblige. As long as they make identification of Muslims easy for everyone. I suggest something along these lines, sewed onto their clothing:
well, not if you convert!
Anyone who doesn’t like dogs is profoundly suspect on general principles.

I’m not a dog owner but I agree with your post.
If they don’t like it, get their *sses out of OUR country.
Enough!
Wait until they run into the service animal situation
You let them in, then you have to change everything about how you live:
Same for WalMart checkers; Muzzies said sorry, I can’t scan bacon —someone else has to be called over to do that.
You accomodated that? Great! Now, booze. Same for booze, beer —whatever. Gotta call some blue-eyed devil over to touch and scan that.
HolySacredIslam, see? Insensitive if you don’t accomodate me. Tired, poor, huddled masses, teaming to be free, see..?
And PRAYER! You dummies have heard all about how we pray 5 times per day. Gotta let us pray, gotta accomodate, right?
Then there’s foot-baths.
Actually, if I put my mind to it there’s TONS of stuff, and I’ll ALWAYS move the goalposts, the better to keep milking you.
“NEVER cut a sucker and even break” —that’s what we say.
Animals are very sensitive to the presence of evil.

That's a good observation.
"Bacon not welcome" goes along with "dogs not welcome."
I'm seeing more "halal" restaurants popping up in the Bay Area. Look for your favorite Chinese place to take pork off the menu to bow down to this trend. I'm not talking about the occasional halal Chinese place that serves lamb in place of pork (a tasty experience) but a national Chinese restaurant chain (that even has female employees with the head covering).
