So here i am putting together a Char-Broil portable gas grill that came with three seperate instruction manuals..
Any comments on why ANYBODY on this continent or the southern one gives two flying craps about FRENCH anymore. I had to pay extra for that book i just threw in the trash.
Oh, yea......canada. I'll hit post anyways...
on my last beer anyways...work the night shift.
I’m more perturbed by how many languages we print voter’s ballots here in commie Kalifornia for the benefit of supposed citizens.
What, no Swahili?
Glad you posted — thanks for the laugh. I would have had exactly the same sequence of thoughts.
English. 1.121 billion total speakers.
Chinese. 1.107 billion total speakers.
Hindi. 534.2 million total speakers.
Spanish. 512.9 million total speakers.
French. 284.9 million total speakers.
Arabic. 273.9 million total speakers.
Russian. 265 million total speakers
If the company does not have customers / markets in China or India, then French makes sense.
Use the French instructions. They claim to be superior cooks so the food will be better.
It’s like those French have a different word for everything.
I believe it’s Canadian law that everything must be in both English and French. So by including French, your grill can be sold in Canada.
It s required by NAFTA. That’s why instructions come in a minimum of English, French, and Spanish.
Parlee Vooooo

Even the graffiti!
Wimp!
I assemble in a new language every time to make it more challenging!
It is easier include all three languages then to try to make sure none of the non-french ones go to Canada.
A Char-Broil, huh?
Oh well, We all make mistakes. Live and learn.
What you should do is pack it all up and take it all back,
And get a Weber.
/snark
Makes sense because to to me learning or giving a crap about anything french in 2019 is a complete waste of time.
I remember it being one of two required languages in school.
again a complete waste of time in my opinion.
My father once got a tool shed with instructions in English that said ‘can be put together by one man and a screwdriver’.
Well it took 4 of us to help him because you had to hold up walls, roof, doors all to assemble.
But beyond that the other instructions were in Chinese...
and they didn’t translate well. Left out some items, a few weirdly designed screws and stuff and the instructions sometimes made no sense.
I have no idea how we ever got that thang together.
It’s not grill, it’s the griller.
Instruction manual??? What’s that for?
Votre déclaration aurait beaucoup plus d’impact si vous perdiez les mots so et here. Allez-y, dites-le à voix haute. Voir?
