Nearly 2 of 10 Americans believe President Trump should be given two extra years in office because his agenda was stalled by the Russia election probe, and another 7% said he should stay in office if defeated, according to a new survey.

The poll tested the public’s reaction to the end of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe and found some sympathy for Trump and support for a tweet proposal by Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. to tack two years on to the Republican’s first term because the probe stole two years from his presidency.

Some of the respondents are simply idiots, the rest were probably just trolling the pollsters.

when He’s done with his 4 terms in office as president, then we can discuss letting him stay an extra 2 years

Much more than 7% of Dems wanted the Intel agencies abused by Dems to try to get Trump removed on false collusion charges.

The people who tried to destroy Trump should get 25 years, on second thought, “The Chair”.

If they polled Democrats 2 years into 0’s Presidency, they would have found in the high 60 percentile that Dims would allow him to be Presidente for life.

Well I think Trump is the best president we've had in the modern era but even I would not support him staying in office if he was defeated.

I would however support overturning the 22nd Amendment.

Only the election results were found to be unlawful. Then, the next in line should be sworn...

George Washington did it right. Two terms is enough.

Considering the current landscape, I would advocate that PDJT be POTUS for life, especially when taking into account the perilous options from the left as well as the lackluster possibilities going forward within the GOP.

Besides, after all that our Commander-in-Chief (not to mention his deplorable supporters) has had to endure so far in his first term, I am totally in favor of reparations!!!

By which I mean the chair used in pro wrestling, used to beat the living daylights out of the sumbitches who dreamed up this coup attempt.

Most likely "Fake News"...

Sounds, to me, like a Alinsky-style ploy to scare the crap out of the demoncrat faithful who might be inclined to not vote in 2020 because of the party's internal struggles for communist solidarity...

Bingo! You can poll anything—ANYTHING—and find the 15% that falls right into the categories you cited. (The 7% that would let a defeated candidate remain in office are certifiably simple idiots.)
