Dwight Schrute is a beloved character from one of America’s all-time favorite shows, “The Office.” He was hilarious. Freshman Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is also hilarious in her own way, but certainly not beloved. Check out this tweet from AOC, who berates Republicans and mocks their intelligence… This is a technique of the GOP, to take dry humor + sarcasm literally and “fact check” it. Like the “world ending in 12 years” thing, you’d have to have the social intelligence of a sea sponge to think it’s literal.

I was curious too, so I Google’d it:

I’d say no, she isn’t.

12 years left, if we don’t address climate change....
I’m pretty sure I remember a condition, at some point, that we had 12 years to reduce carbon emissions by half OR the world would end. That is at least clever enough to give her an out if we start towards the green new deal. She could move the goal posts for decades, with that claim, so long as she is incrementally getting what she wants. Regardless, I still hear a condition attached to the 12 year figure. My concern is that there were a lot of people applauding the claim.
Course taking Trump’s joke about Putin getting Hillary’s emails serious is fine.

An all-time favorite tv show? I never saw it, not even once. What am I missing?
I’m a binge watcher. I will watch a lot of different stuff just to be entertained. I tried watching the Office. One or 2 episodes. Couldn’t. Just didn’t do a thing for me.
