Brendan Bialy, the aspiring Marine who jumped into action during the Colorado school shooting, said he desperately pumped the chest of his fallen friend after they tackled one of the attackers. Despite his efforts, 18-year-old Kendrick Castillo died after throwing himself on the shooter at STEM School Highlands Ranch on Tuesday. Another heroic student, Joshua Jones, suffered two gunshot wounds during the scuffle and is recovering at home.

The most important takeaway from this article?
“I refuse to be a victim.”
(The whole Donk party wants each of us to be a victim.)

Bravo, Marine and fellow students.
Such a shame that Kendrick died. But at least, he died a hero and not a sniveling coward as our commie masters want us to do (”don’t do this at home, always call police...”)

I believe the shooters were outraged at global warming and they were outraged at Trump for being a big meanie who didn’t let Hillary become President and they were victimized by the NRA...at least that’s what the media will probably say.

Marines are trained to take the fight to the enemy, to break the ambush by breaking the ambushers.
It’s saved untold thousands of Marines’ lives.
This kid will do well in the Corps!

Probably a LOT more than a shame to many. He is a hero but it’s a #### of a lot more than a shame.
Having to put down a dog is a shame.
This is a tragedy.

It’s actually an atrocity, not a tragedy.
I’m sick of mere “tragedy” when heinous acts are perpetrated by man on man. 9/11 was definitely not merely a tragedy, of buildings simply failing and giving way. It was an ATROCITY.

Truly sad! He really is a true hero! There is no way to know how many lives he helped save, by giving his own!
But at least, he died a hero and not a sniveling coward as our commie masters want us to do (dont do this at home, always call police...)
The official Government sanctioned solution to an active shooter situation, as created under the Obama Administration is "Run, Hide, Fight." You know, RUN - as in forget everyone else, just run away from danger, HIDE - as in forget everyone else, just lock yourself into place and pray that the shooter doesn't find you or shoot indiscriminately into your hiding area and FIGHT - as in, if your can't run or hide, I guess you might as well fight. The one good thing is that they do say, if you must fight, fight to the death. My response when I was going through this training was, "DUH! The shooter was probably planning to kill me anyway, so why WOULDN'T I fight to the death?!?"
The cowardly "RUN, HIDE, FIGHT" method is what resulted in planes flying into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon! Those who decided that fighting was the ONLY answer died, but they limited the deaths to themselves; you know, those who were going to die no matter what, and they saved countless other lives in the process!!

I don’t think it’s necessary for all teachers to be armed and ready/prepared to confront a shooter. I’m sure a few would volunteer to be armed (or have a gun very nearby)and to take training if needed. When this is known to potential attackers, it would be a potent deterrent.
