I am sure the decline will be blamed exclusively on racist white males, but millennials are generally nowhere near as interested in pro sports in comparison to the generations before them. Also, the cost to attend a pro sporting event is getting excessive and not sustainable.
Don’t they own the rights to all those NFL films narrated by John Facenda? They should play those non-stop. Some of the best sports film ever.

They are gambling on a huge uptick in revenue from this 100th anniversary. They won't get it from me. Next year, when the 100th is history, they still won't have the programs they are cancelling this year. Look for a lot of red ink at the end of this year, and a huge budget reduction next year.
Dear NFL: Stay out of politics and social justice. You are strictly an entertainment industry, and if you remember that, you will do well. Otherwise, go out of business, and good riddance.
