King is 85 and according to the article had been having trouble breathing for months and I imagine other sighs of heart problems. Yet did not seek any medical help until he finally felt he had no choice but ended up having a heart attack. If he had gone in earlier I think they might have caught this in time. But like a lot of people, especially men, he kept putting it off until it was almost too late.
Once upon a time I liked King, he did pretty good interviews when I would catch him on the radio years ago. Later on I got to the point I could not tolerate him.
His personal life, morals, and ethics were horrible. But I wish Mr. King well and hope he recovers.
If I was gonna have one, that's the best time to do it!....................
I remember being on a business trip back in the 80s and was waiting for a plane in the check-in waiting area. The “Larry King Entourage” came in cleared everyone away from the check-in desk and waiting area. They wanted people at least 20 yards from the great Larry. They brought him in on a wheelchair which kind of astounded me. Anyway they checked him in got him up in first class. I had never watched his show before I was now never about to!
Wonder how many suitors are lining up for the Shawn King sweepstakes?...
What’s going on with all these famous people dying recently? Is the Rapture happening?
This news makes me extremely sad.
Actually I read another article that said he had been seeing doctors about the breathing problems but none of the treatments they gave had worked and he was going to the hospital for more tests.
Who didn’t see this coming, really...
Prayers for the old buzzard.
“Doctor, what’s your question?...”
I could not stand listening to King after someone talked about how horrible ‘trickle down economics’ was, and King said that the problem was “they didn’t trickle”
Meaning the rich were ‘given’ money and kept it.
That level of stupidity was the last straw for me.
Trickle-down was when they didn’t TAX AWAY money from businesses, and so they were able to use it to hire people or otherwise increase their business... and it was a HUGE success.
Welcome to the club, Larry! Been there, had that.
You hear that, Elizabeth? I'm coming to join you, honey! And I'm taking Larry King with me!
Hope King recalls the Truths told by to him by the late Rev. Jerry Falwall, who was a frequent guest on his show. Eternity is forever.
And he just now was headed to the hospital?
Hi.
My pastor would say”repent Larry and believe in the Gospel.”
“You’re short.”

Mitzi Gaynor - has there ever been a spunkier gal? Heart attacks, people who have them don’t want them and people who don’t have them don’t worry about them. Volvo makes a quality car at a fair price. Tomatoes - are they a fruit or a vegetable? The presidential candidates so far have no real standouts - who’s the next Garfield?...
I thought he had been on life support for the last 30 years...
This guy has always creeped me out. Yuck
King had a heart attack and by pass about 39-35 years ago.
He never stopped talking about it. He wrote a book about it called “Mr. King, You’re Having a Heart Attack”.
It made his career.
