I can absolutely make a big traffic problem all over the world, the hacker said.
On some cars, the software has the capability of remotely turning off the engines of vehicles that are stopped or are traveling 12 miles per hour or slower, according to the manufacturer of certain GPS tracking devices.
By reverse engineering ProTrack and iTracks Android apps, L&M said he realized that all customers are given a default password of 123456 when they sign up.
ProTrack is made by iTryBrand Technology, a company based in Shenzhen, China. iTrack is made by SEEWORLD, a company based in Guangzhou, China. Both iTryBrand and SEEWORLD sell hardware tracking devices and the cloud platforms to manage them directly to users,

[We can start our new F150 with our cellphone...from anywhere I think (as long as theres cell service).]
Does it have the option of shutting it down as well? (I would guess so if you’re inside on a severe snowy day and decided against a trip after warming the vehicle up). But I don’t know.
[I am saying a lot of things that I would have found unbelievably nutty 5 or 10 years ago.]
What’s worse than the tinfoil nut-job conspiracy ping list is if you become one of those “Bible prophecy” people.
They’re the worst!
;)
I wish I still had my 66 Rambler. Loved that car!
LoL.
Although I met a couple of people back in the eighties who were conservative Christians and they told me that there would be persecution of Christians worldwide in the next 30 years. I thought they were certifiable.
They also predicted that Christianity was on the wane.
So I pay more attention to the nutjob prophecy people now. lol

I’ve been thrown out of the company of a lot of folks. LOL - oh well
I didn’t know Luke 6:22 was gonna apply with that too. Heh.
Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.

Yes, but having it be a world wide phenomena with Islam displacing Christianity in the Western World is certainly a novelty I didn’t entertain. LOL
I was warning people about islam before 9/11 but didn’t expect a major event like what happened.
I was witnessing what the terrorist Yasser Arafat and friends were doing to Israel.

Yes, it does. The technology is neat...but just too much.
Figures, that makes sense.
As I mentioned earlier, somehow I ran across a commercial where the cops are chasing somebody in a vehicle an OnStar(I believe) shuts the vehicle down, ending the chase.
How very 1984.
Freedoms just another word for nothing left to lose...........You know who sung.....GREATEST !!!
Hastingscides will increase.
They really need to bring back those cheap little Toyota pickups from the 80s.
Hubby had one, cheapest stripped down model with a radio as the only perk. He drove it for years until a deer took it out. Got back more in insurance than he paid for it.
Yes, but like most everything else, I didn’t know the background...

My mom had a’62. Copper colored. Flathead six and a 3 speed. I have very fond memories of that car.

I had a 2002 Chevy Suburban - I “think” it has the same engine? Went 330K miles and the transmission finally died. Best vehicle I ever owned :-)
I have a 1973 Dodge 413. It quit on me and I blamed it on the ethanol, but I thought it was a fuel system thing. Now that it might be valve seats I may as well not bother trying to get it going again.
A friend of my son wants the engine. I told him he could have it.
My 04 has a 350 V8. 132K miles. “Low mileage” at about 9K miles per year :)
Every time I drive it I check to see if the wheels have fallen off. Maybe some day...
More likely a 5.3l not a 5.7(350). Good engine until they put the variable valve stuff in them.
