On some cars, the software has the capability of remotely turning off the engines of vehicles that are stopped or are traveling 12 miles per hour or slower, according to the manufacturer of certain GPS tracking devices.
By reverse engineering ProTrack and iTracks Android apps, L&M said he realized that all customers are given a default password of 123456 when they sign up.

Oh, knew a guy who had OnStar in his Tahoe.
He locked his keys in the car. OnStar couldn’t get a signal to the truck so it had to be opened the old-fashioned way. Somebody had to come out with a device to slip in there.

And I had run across a green one with split front bumpers - at the local AMC dealer - around 1976 I think.
The Camaro was a ‘72(?) - maybe a ‘71?

Yeah it’s not easy finding those old vehicles. Nowadays they use those fiberglass kits and put in a modern engine’s. I like the old cars because I can work on them without needing a computer science degree.

Had a 72 Ford Torino. Bought it in 76. Actually I bartered for it. I rebuilt a 68 Aston Martin dbs engine for the Torino.
V8 351 Cleveland. Fire Engine Red. If it a a white stripe I could have been Starsky and Hutch. Used to race it in the backwoods of deep south TX. Lots of fun. Seems that every town I’d hit, the cops would always stop me to warn about how racing is not allowed. Hehehe
