I know this has been called to his attention yet he insists on saying it incorrectly.

That one is one of the worst.
Then there’s “for free.” Free, in this context, means at no cost, or FOR no cost. So you’re saying it’s for for no cost.
there is no such thing as “for free.” It’s “free.”

He’s criticized for his grammar and usage, because doing it correctly would make him even more effective.

He still speaks like a house painter or dish washer.

He’s like a dog with ADD surrounded by rabbits.
That habit of shouting at the mic... it’s as if stridency is supposed to be persuasive.
And then there’s the perennial interrupting of a guest who’s about to make some important point. You wonder if he is even listening to what they say, or if it’s just impossible for him to stay silent for more than one minute. He did manage to not interrupt Trump the other day and I’m surprised Sean didn’t pass out from the strain of remaining quiet.

I’ve seen him criticized here for more substantial stuff than grammar and usage.

You wonder if he is even listening to what they say Yes, sometimes he reminds me of Bob and Ray's "Komodo Dragon Expert" sketch.

I bet a dollar he doesn’t have any idea what comes after it. It’s like an all purpose mantra for him.

That’s a funny sketch. No one is doing comedy like that today. Well, other than Sean but that’s unintentional so I dunno if it counts.
Actually George Noory is way ahead of Sean in the contest for most oblivious interviewer.

My hot water heater has a thermostat, as do most.
The water inside stays hot, according my setting, usually right around 105.
At times in winter when I have been out hunting, fishing or shoveling snow, I’m eager to jump into my big clawfoot tub to soak and relax.
On those days I kick up the thermostat a few degrees...thereby heating my already hot water.
You are still wrong. Or should I drop the “still”?
To: TBP
what is your recommendation here?
