We all know who really runs the Lakers and it was not Magic.

Don’t like the whispers, politics, and backstabbing of professional basketball????

Paul Westhead would probably think otherwise.

I never understood why Magic decided to become the President of the Lakers. Maybe it was an ego thing... It wasn’t the money or power... he sold his small ownership share years ago. Magic was wildly successful after his NBA career ended. Estimates of his net worth is north of $500 million. I’m glad he made the decision to return to what made him happy. It is a noble thing to aspire to do what makes us happy. Truth be told, I was raised a Celtic but Magic was a most worthy adversary every year...

I just don’t watch thugball.

When that Latrell Sprewell was NOT imprisoned for choking his coach during practice in 1997, was not even benched, I stopped caring about this game. It became thugball.

I’ll watch some college basketball but even there they don’t call travelling and they have monkeys hanging from the rim. Thug behavior, not basketball.

Surprised he’s still alive 28 years after testing positive for HIV.

I really enjoy the video of Magic coming to the ceremony for Larry Bird.

A spotlight comes on and in walks Magic.

The Boston fans are stunned.

Larry Bird is stunned.

Magic walks up to Bird.

Everyone wonders what is going to happen next!

Magic takes off his coat.

He’s wearing a Larry Bird, Boston Celtics Jersey.

Great moment.
