I lost interest I the NBA also, but it wasn’t because all those Celtic legends left, it was because players like Kareem, Wilt, Magic, West, Baylor and a few other great Lakers left. Those days when the Celtic and the Laker Greats played each other for all the Marbles are gone forever.

I was 12 when the Sonics won the national championship. Basketball back then was awesome, 1979. By the mid to late 90s it was going ghetto ball, and then i lost interest. Fond memories of 70-80s bball.
