Isn’t that called a food bank?

food bank doesn't have the word "free" in it, a must for leftists.

“If it’s he and his wife’s money, it’s more than most the rich folk do”

****

if it’s his money, then so be it. But he’ll learn a lesson that these moochers are all over the place. Yes, I interned at a gospel mission at Skid Row when I was still at Stanford. 99% of these “homeless” are just damn lazy and that’s a fact. I came in a liberal and came out a hardened rightwinger after the conversations I heard between them..

What parent can’t feed their kid(s) in America? What are they using all the FREE $ available in America for?

Free stuff, just for the asking? What could possibly go wrong?

How much money do they have to do this?

No matter, it will never be enough.

I give the venture two years if not government subsidized.

Remember the Panera franchise that told people they could pay whatever they wanted for their purchases?

Gone.

You are so correct. I worked in a grocery store for several years and it was a lot stricter. could only have unattached 1 dollar food stamps. Change was written down on a piece of paper and you had to “cash” them in on food. With the EBT cards, who knows if you are using foodstamps or not.

He’s one of the once-rare far leftists in country. He even had a song lauding Obama’s election, which he admitted had to be subtly stated to avoid driving away the then-typical country audience.

Hope he’s got a clear-cut procedure to determine who is needy and who is not. The government never seemed to be able to do that.

“(This model) takes away the sting of embarrassment for a parent who maybe feels that way because they can’t feed their kid,” Paisley said. “The kids should not know what their parent is going through. That’s not stress a child needs.”

I wonder how many parents with thousand dollar cell phones will take advantage of this idiot.

I hope it’s a lot.

I can’t feed my children, but what I really feel bad about is that I cannot scan items and hear a “beep!” at the register. If only I could hear that “beep!”, everything would be all better for my children!

I don’t have a problem with his philanthropy as long as its not using public funds.

But I suspect we will read more about this after he determines that there is a problem with those not truly needy taking advantage of the free stuff.

Kimberly Williams Paisley has always had the rare "girl-next-door" beauty...well, at least since her series, "According To Jim". Appears to be a nice person, too and not a Hollyweirdo.

This’ll work as well as the “Panera Cares” stores did, once the bums and freeloaders get its address. Perfect example of how to take a large amount of money, and turn it into a small amount of money.

Good recipe to go broke. They will be overrun by all types when the word free stuff gets out there.

Don't the really needy get food stamps?

This will fail. If it is such a good idea, why aren’t all stores “free”?

Why not give away things free? Why not give a guaranteed basic income to all? Why not free college?

Because you have to have people working productively to produce the goods and money. Those people aren’t eligible for the “free” things. They are stupid to keep working to produce things that are given to those who don’t work. Keep it up, and no one is working and everyone is grabbing free things.

This will fail as all liberal ideas do.

How about needles and condoms too?

What kind of miser is this easy-peasey Paisly guy?

And after we eat? Can we use the crapper in the free store?

I am reminded of something my grandfather said - “Good thing food costs money ‘cause otherwise, we would have too many fat people.”

And my grandfather was a farmer.
