Todays Cryptogram
YJYK JQ IX ARSHKYSE RZK GXAJLGJYVZHRLE, TPS XJP EGJPWV EKK EJIK JQ SGKHZ JCYKZE. RYJYXIJPE UKSKZHYRZHRY
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications, unfortunately they are copyrighted so we can't use them here. So, we're just going to make up our own.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter.
For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
Solving the puzzle under 8 minutes is good, under 6 very good, under 4 excellent and under 2 "you're a pro!"
Those of you looking for an added challenge can try to solve one sentence or even one word at a time, i.e. solve the entire first line, then go to the second line etc.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.

Solution to our last puzzle:
ITS EASY TO MAKE A FRIEND. WHATS HARD TO MAKE IS A STRANGER. ANONYMOUS
2 min.
Get the three letter words then the real long one busts the puzzle wide open.
Had some trouble with this one - might be my flu ...
several mis-starts, but “patients” wins the day!
There are only a few good options for EKK. My first try gave some funny letter placements but the next one looked reasonable. Then I looked at RZK, which now had one letter filled. I wanted it to be the regular three-lettered indefinite article, but I found no other instances of RZ, which you would expect if my preferred fill was right. So I moved on to the plural form of the verb to be. Then things fell into place.
Love it!
The conjunction after the comma was helpful, again.
Okay, that took about 6 minutes and many, many false starts. Finally managed the EKK and the RYJYXIJPE. I agree, too.
The conjunction was a big help for me too. Took about 4 min.
When you build up the big word in little pieces, it can throw you off.
That one was an “animal” to solve ...but, yes, the “EKK” word was the key to solving it.
A bit of a challenge for me today. 7 min.
