Statement Regarding Migrant Protection Protocols Litigation
The flow of illegal aliens is crashing our immigration system and overwhelming our country. But a district court has issued yet another nationwide injunction forcing open borders policies onto an unwilling American populace. Time and time again, we have seen a single district court unilaterally rewriting, suspending, or terminating immigration law for the whole Nation creating an unprecedented crisis on our southern border.
Congress passed a Federal law that allows for the return of illegal and inadmissible aliens to Mexico while they await asylum hearings which ensures that they are not released into the interior of the United States. Stunningly, a district court in California has issued a nationwide injunction halting the use of this Federal law as part of a cooperative program extensively negotiated with the government of Mexico. This action gravely undermines the Presidents ability to address the crisis at the border with the tools Congress has authorized and disrupts the conduct of our foreign affairs.
We intend to appeal, and we will take all necessary action to defend the Executive Branchs lawful efforts to resolve the crisis at our southern border.

The White House will appeal two Federal court rulings on immigration law, including yesterday's judgment barring return of asylum seekers to Mexico to await hearings on their petitions.
The ruling gravely undermines POTUS' ability to address border crisis.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in will arrive in Washington DC this Wednesday, where he will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday. Moon is hopeful his trip to the United States will revitalize talks with North Korea.

Barr to Mueller:
Bob, show me the evidence and reasoning for why this investigation was started and still ongoing.
Mueller to Bart:
With regards to the President we have found no links or ties to any foreign entity etc
Barr to Mueller:
Mandate was clear - verify and investigate reports of possible foreign collusion between President & Russia.
What justification existed to effectively launch a massive domestic / foreign surv campaign against the President (pres elect / president) and members of his transition / campaign team?
Mueller to Barr:
Steele dossier along w/ media corroboration of those findings.
Barr to Mueller:
Was the Steele report a trusted and verified report per Intel to continue especially considering the funding party was the opposition party?
Mueller to Barr:
Those facts were never taken into consideration.
FISC granted auth to conduct based on conclusions presented.
Barr to Mueller:
Was FISC made aware of all details surrounding the dossier?
Mueller to Barr:
No.
We believe there was urgency placed on the auth given the gravity and timeline of events that those involved negated to populate fully.
Barr to Mueller:
Why were efforts made to continue investigating the President, interrupt his official capacity in governing,
if the only doc presented was unsubstantiated and unverified?
Why were questions and threat of subpoena
communicated to the President if no factual foundation existed?
All charges thus far are unrelated to the original mandate -
why are you still active and pursuing a crime if no verifiable evidence or evidence through discovery exists?
Barr to RR:
What justification did you have to effectively expand the mandate, not report that expansion to Congress, in order to seek a crime outside of R collusion?
What specific reasoning and/or facts existed to justify the appointment of a SC to begin with per the law?
Why did you recommend to Sessions that he should recuse?
Why wasnt the mandate / budget and regular updates provided to Congress upon request?
Why is everything kept confidential and under inappropriate classification?
Was the purpose of
investigating to find a crime vs investigate evidence of a crime?

UNBELIEVABLE! I honestly think that the Press Pool for President Trump needs to be overhauled. RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL! Screaming questions about Migrant separation. One of the GOP senators from Kris Kobachs home state said Tuesday that the Senate would not be able to confirm the Kansas Republican if President Donald Trump taps him for a cabinet post.
Kobach, the former Kansas secretary of state, has been mentioned as a potential candidate for an array of immigration-related positions since President Donald Trump pulled his nominee for the director of Immigration Customs Enforcement and announced the departure of Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen.
But Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kansas, said he doesnt believe the Republican-controlled Senate could confirm his fellow Kansan, who has gained national notoriety for championing stronger restrictions on immigration.
Dont go there. We cant confirm him, Roberts whispered to The Kansas City Star when asked about Kobach Tuesday on his way into a Senate vote.
