The wacko pro-Trump QAnon conspiracy theory has some friends in high places in South Carolina, where State Rep. Lin Bennett (R) has been posting on Facebook about her belief in QAnon.
QAnon is a kind of mega-Pizzagate, premised on anonymous internet posting that that claim that Trump is about to arrest top Democrats and either ship them off to Guantanamo Bay or just have them executed. QAnon has been linked to several violent incidents, including a Seattle stabbing and, incredibly, the recent murder of a mafia boss.
Bennett is arguably the highest ranking politician to promote QAnon so far.

There are some who really believe this is real. Most Qbots however see this as just another online fantasy game and a harmless way to socialize with one another.
I’m not surprised that the MSM is inventing things wholesale to malign the “Q” thing and every conservative by extension.
I am mildly surprised that people continue to ignore FR directive and promote these stories with their own threads here.

Q strikes me more as a knitting circle than a role-playing game. Mostly old hens siting around exchanging their favorite wishes and fantasies, clucking about "10,000 indictments", "weather-control machines", etc.
Fortunately, their nonsense has its own sewer at FR. Unfortunately, it regularly spills onto normal-people threads.
Yes they are terrible. So mean. Always pointing out how Q stuff has never come true. Don’t listen to them. It will all come true. Not today. Not tomorrow. But some day it will all come true. Really it will.
