Donald Trump's border wall may have found possible funding after the Defense Department identified $12.8 billion that could be utilized for its construction. A 20-page spreadsheet was released by Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I. On Twitter.In February, Trump made steps to allocate $8 billion from various federal agencies after he declared a national emergency to fund the southern border wall.

I have looked at the list. A few sacred cows, but very little that is really critical. It won’t be missed, and the Congress will step up to replace any project that comes out of powerful members district. This will be painless.
Reed released the list in hopes of a great uproar from the halls of Congress. He will be disappointed, but for a short time, CNN and MSNBC will be the biggest defense hawks in the land.
It’s kinda funny. Just as my wife’s friends in Chicago, back in 1970, when they heard she was moving to Seattle were asking if they had cars there yet, I figured Main was still lilly white and gentrified, with a lot of lobster fishermen. :D

He’s trying to build opposition to it. POTUS is taking money from pork projects, non critical DOD programs, etc. I heard on the radio here in Florida about one navy base worried they were going to lose money allocated to construct a new office building.
The Dem is trying to build opposition to Trump’s plan by showing where the money is coming from. Other DOD facilities will lose money/jobs to help build the wall and the Dims want them to fight this battle for them.
