It’s kinda funny. Just as my wife’s friends in Chicago, back in 1970, when they heard she was moving to Seattle were asking if they had cars there yet, I figured Main was still lilly white and gentrified, with a lot of lobster fishermen. :D

I think you meant Rhode Island and hey - if MN isn’t too cold for the Somalis, then RI isn’t going to be too cold for Mexicans. It doesn’t make sense to us but I guess it doesn’t have to.
