FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — Two young men were found dead inside torched cars. Three others died of apparent suicides. Another collapsed on a bus, his death ruled an overdose.
Six deaths, all involving men with connections to protests in Ferguson, Missouri, drew attention on social media and speculation in the activist community that something sinister was at play.
Police say there is no evidence the deaths have anything to do with the protests stemming from a white police officer’s fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown, and that only two were homicides with no known link to the protests.
But some activists say their concerns about a possible connection arise out of a culture of fear that persists in Ferguson 4 ½ years after Brown’s death, citing threats — mostly anonymous — that protest leaders continue to receive.
The Rev. Darryl Gray said he found a box inside his car. When the bomb squad arrived, no explosives were found but a 6-foot (1.8-meter) python was inside.
“Everybody is on pins and needles,” Gray said of his fellow activists.

While 85% of all children who show behavior disorders come from fatherless homes – 20 times the average. (Center for Disease Control).
With 71% of all high school dropouts being from fatherless homes – 9 times the average. (National Principals Association Report).
Moreover, 70% of youths in state-operated institutions come from fatherless homes – 9 times the average. (U.S. Dept. of Justice, Sept. 1988).
And 85% of all youths in prison come from fatherless homes – 20 times the average. (Fulton Co. Georgia, Texas Dept. of Correction).

I don’t know how to process MH370. A guy that worked that hard to not only get rid of himself, but innocent crew and innocent passengers. Well, that’s the official explanation.

I’m sure young black men are dying in similar ways all across America. The only difference is being from Ferguson gives them some notoriety.

That was a real LOL. After all, in east central MO it would have been fairly easy to find a real 4’ timber rattler that was a real threat. A 6’ python, OTOH, is just a pet grade snake that’s going to grow a bit, giving the python daddy a larger and larger upkeep problem.

My pop died when I was 14.
There’s no way to describe the difference of life with a good father and then life without a father.
Mom was great and I had a big Italian family.
I went wild. Calmed down by I’d say 26.
Minor crimes were involved. Maybe some here wouldn’t consider them minor. Never hurt anybody.
It was a neighborhood which had mafiosi in it and though my pop always warned me about that life, the guys were rich and drove awesome cars and had great big mansions.
Things that I look back on now that I did..NO WAY I do those things if pop doesn’t die.
Doesn’t excuse it. It just is.
Thanks to having a big family that cared i came around in my mid 20s and avoided a long prison sentence or death.
I remember watching LockUp and almost every inmate, whether black or white or red or yellow spoke of how not having a father ####ed them up.
But dems don’t care about the truth.
They dont care about anybody.
They just care about power.

The greatest ‘privilege’ I had growing up was quality, moral parents.
Why do they need to provide the metric equivalent of distances, weights, temperatures, etc.? We are Americans, we don’t do metric!;)

I have seen the effects of boys raised without fathers and am heartened that you escaped the worst of its consequences. The Left’s assault on the traditional family has had tragic effects.
