President Trump said he encouraged Republicans to “vote for transparency” after the House unanimously voted on Thursday for the Justice Department to publicly release special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on his Russia investigation. “On the recent non-binding vote (420-0) in Congress about releasing the Mueller Report, I told leadership to let all Republicans vote for transparency,” Trump tweeted Saturday morning. “Makes us all look good and doesn’t matter. Play along with the game!” The resolution was introduced by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler of New York, who said there is “overwhelming public interest” to see the report. It would direct the Justice Department to disclose the entire report to Congress and also with the public, except if there is any portion “thereof is expressly prohibited by law.”

I’m thinking this little stunt may backfire on the Democrats...once the collusion angle is shown to be fake.
What, instead, they should have done was allow part of it to remain redacted and then (falsely) claim all the Russian collusion was in that part.
Or maybe I’m missing something, as I thought that approach would have been obvious to the Democrats.

True but I hope he decides soon to stop “hiding” the FISA docs from us. He delared he would declassify and release them eight months ago. Where are they?

It is going to be leaked within milliseconds anyway, so might as well go along.
Barr is going to use Holder’s classification of Fast and Furious documents as precedent for classifying the Mueller investigation.
Nothing the Democrats can do about it.
