President Trumps former primary rival Jeb Bush called on a Republican candidate to challenge the president in the 2020 GOP nomination because the party ought to be a given a choice." "I think someone should run. Just because Republicans ought to be given a choice," said Bush in an interview with former Obama adviser David Axelrod, which is set to air Saturday on CNN. Bush, who served as Floridas governor from 1999-2007, acknowledged a Republican opponents chances of beating Trump in 2020 will be an uphill climb because he has a strong, loyal base.

To be clear, I don't mean that they aren't aware of what's going on at the open border.
What I do mean is that they are not really aware of the large number of voters who don't want open borders.
Speak for yourself.
May Trump be so blessed as to face Jeb! in 2020.
Of course, not happening.
It is early, but at this rate no primary challenge or even likely general Dem candidate has a legitimate hope against Trump.
Drop dead, you moron. Go write a Mexican cookbook with your wife.
They are fully aware, that’s why they carefully manipulate those voters.
Some here even think Flimsey Grahamnesty has somehow changed his spots.
If they were smart theyd be clinging to Trump like a life preserver.

They simply can’t turn their back on their life’s work, turning the USA into North Mexico.
They already have us 30 million people down that road and it’s growing daily.
I believe 16 Republicans ran against him last time.
How did that work out?
You make my point. These 12 Republican Senators, Jeb, Beachball Conway and all the rest of them do think that they can carefully manipulate the large number of voters who don't want open borders.
They are delusional.
It’s so bad I have more regard for Obama than for the Bush dynasty. At least he kept Hillary from being elected in 2008.
They’ve been successful. They hold most of the GOP Senate seats and a fair number of House seats. That’s why we still don’t have a fence we were promised in 1986 and again in 2006. That’s why we have 30 million already here, with more on the way and no plan to make them go home.
Alexander, Graham, McSally, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Gardner, Cornyn, Hyde-Smith, Collins, Sasse, Kennedy, Shelby, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Isakson, Johnson, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Gaines, Moran, Lee, Romney, Paul, Barasso and Enzi are all Bush League Republicans.
More people are 'woke'. In a battle of Trump vs. that long list of Bush League names, who do you think has more support?
Undoubtedly Trump’s position has more support, somewhere between 65-70% of Americans have long supported secure borders and interior enforcement.
But we won’t get that until we replace those other people who have been preventing us from getting them.
I wonder if he thought his brother should have had a primary challenger for HIS second term?
Dear Jeb!, I know it’s difficult to get over being publicly humiliated, but you are acting like a vengeful crybaby. Let it go; you’re now publicly humiliating YOURSELF.
I’m sorry Jeb, it will be wasted time, waste of money and the shame of losing
Why doesn't he try the run again in 2020...Bet DJT would love to mop the floor with him again...
And Momma is no longer available to run to Jeb’s rescue...
The Bush Clan is Political History just like the Clinton
Clan is...
enough of this nonsense ...The GOPe is getting really desperate, next we will hear them pushing Romney...and that will be really fun to trash them with...
Jeb!
Run as a Democrat!
Clap! For a failed presidential candidate who netted 3 delegates before he dropped out.
The most depressing thing about the early days of the 2016 election was the thought that regardless of outcome, we’d be stuck with either another Clinton or another Bush - which would mean that some kid born in 1981 would have had a Bush or a Clinton as President or Vice President for his entire life, minus 8 years of Obama. If that isn’t enough to make somebody permanently cynical about our political system, I don’t know what is.
