New Jersey doesn’t have a gun problem, they have a criminal problem and a DemocRAT problem, but I repeat myself.

Do we see disproportionate amounts of violence in that particular neighborhood??? Just wondering. And if so, you wonder if those “youth gangs” who perpetrate so much gun violence, will put down their guns in response to this effort???

How about the example of Vermont when only in very recent times there was basically no gun control and very little, if any, violent crime?

These Gun Initiatives ARE Violence, themselves.
Against The Constitution and Citizens.

No. It’s the people, stupid.

his administration is taking aim at gun-makers in an effort to lessen gun violence in New Jersey.
How are the manufacturers of weapons responsible for the irresponsible use of their products?
Might as well sue GM for drunk driving accidents.

Will new gun initiatives help stop violence in New Jerseys cities? Only if those new initiatives are to allow normal, upstanding citizens to carry concealed everywhere in NJ.

Sure. As long as the laws are enforced by knights in armor riding unicorns.

The problem is not guns but culture of a segment of a particular “protected class.”

What is steel compared to the hand that wields it?
The problem isn't the guns, the problem is the people. So long as you have young, mostly black men who think they have to be the tough guy gangsta' you will have shootings. Get to them young. Teach them business and capitalism. Teach them gun safety and that no matter how tough they think they are they are not tougher than a steel blade or a lead bullet.

But will pressure on Smith & Wesson from the state of New Jersey do anything to curb street violence in places like Jersey City?
This is so stupid it makes my teeth hurt.

Of course not.
That is not even the real intention of such laws. It is just a cover story.
The Rulers insist that the Peasants bow down before them and the subjects may not even think of forcible objection to the impositions of the Government. Certainly the Peasants cannot be allowed to have any kind of weapon.
