The most popular companies in America, ranked by partisan leaning

The red-blue divide has a big impact on Americans' views of companies, with only two — Wegmans and Publix Supermarkets — appearing on the top 10 list of favorite companies for both Democrats and Republicans, according to an Axios-Harris Poll survey of corporate reputations.

The big picture: People's political views lead them in different directions. Democrats favor the Kraft Heinz Company, while Republicans like Chick-fil-A. But they agree more on the companies they hate — because bad performance affects everyone.

Interesting.
Pretty much every retailer has been recommended for blacklist on FR at one time or another.

Well, we don’t have Publix here in Nevada, so I would say let the people decide. I wouldn’t be caught dead in a Dick’s Sporting Goods, and I love me some Chick Fil’ A (simply because they make a good product and provide good service). I personally like the polarization this country is supposedly going through. I know what side I’m on. If the SJWs want to rule by boycott/boycott, bring it on. The good guys will win that battle every time. By the way, f* FoxNews.

Fun experiment: Keep track of how many Hulu commercials feature white alpha males.

Almost none, with the exception of Deluth Trading Company. Even the Home Depot casts a flannel-wearing manly black guy loading mulch into his Ford pickup, while the weasely white beta is led around by store by his wife.

Most companies seem to hate white alphas, if not our money.

Intel used to be lead by all Republicans and Andy Grove was a hard core anti-communist from Hungary.
H1b and the Gay Mafia have transformed it into an Apple-like uber left company.

It didn’t help that during the 2002 crash, Intel asked GWB for help and he blew them off.

I thought it was interesting that the pollster couldn’t figure out why the Dems liked Heinz so much. They forgot who Kerry married.

Funny, Apple:

Democrats: 77.0%

Republicans: 77.7%

Overall: 76.4%

Just to the right of the median line in red territory, much closer to Chick-fil-A than to Twitter.

Think again. . . Find Apple on that chart. You’ll be surprised.

Democrats:77.0%

Republicans:77.7%!

Publix Supermarkets

That’s cool. Publix is the largest
employee-owned company in the world.
I’ve been eating two of their subs a
week for the last sixteen years.

Seems like the lowest overall score is for the US Government.

I'm no advertising expert, but I suspect these companies have done extensive tests and determined that white males (especially older ones) and Asian men are almost immune to TV advertising influence. I can't think of a single product I've ever purchased after seeing an ad for it on television.

Conversely, it's pretty much understood that most U.S. television content is aimed at women and blacks. That's why you see the trends you've identified in TV ads.

Axios is a Politico spinoff.

Do you really think they forgot about Heinz Kerry?

Maybe they pulled that fact because Kraft Heinz is tanking in the stock market because of some stupid management decisions, and they didn't want to add fuel to the fire?

I like Chic Filet’s politics and service but the menu, not so much. I prefer whole legs, including the bones, fried to a crisp.

I can think of one - and I saw the commercials on the Internet, not tv. Black Rifle Coffee Company......I have a subscription. YT commercials are the best (as in Mat Best); it's vet owned and operated.

When starbucks said they wanted to hire 10k immigrants - BRCC said they wanted to hire 10k vets.

The site SecondVote lets you search businesses based on your values and what they sell. You can then give them your business, a “second vote”.

Re Heinz. Great products before Mrs. Heinz and Kerry were a public figure. Ketchup is the best.

Hunts - I know was owned by the conservative Hunt Brothers, also makes a pretty good ketchup.

Target: Great prices and nice people.

Chick Fil-A. Great food, nice people and nice Christian ethic. Not in your face, but used as a way to live decently.

Stuck with Google. NEVER used Facebook. I hate self-hating Jews and leftist pricks like Zucker - and I’m Jewish. We have aholes too, like ticks on a dog’s ass. Hard to get rid of.

Boycott where you can. Complain legitimately and let these leftist businesses know what they are doing wrong.

Target lost me when they decided to side with transgenders in the bathrooms. Seems like there was a gun-rights issue, too. Can’t remember for sure now.
