A white person may be in the VP slot but won’t ever be allowed at the top of the ticket. The new crop of radicals will never allow it.
And which of the “big donors” wanted Trump in 2016? Seems to me the big donors wanted Bush #3 and we see how that went.
If not Biden, then someone else not who is not perceived a a far-left socialist will win the party’s nomination. The commies will dilute the socialist vote among themselves and the “moderate” or two who are in the race will win.
Kind of like how conservatives rarely win the Republican nomination.
The Dems are going to nominate an “establishment” candidate from the swamp. Unless of course a Trumpian change agent on the Left emerges - I feel the Dems are more entrenched in the swamp than the GOP so it’s hard to fathom anyone other than a Biden, Hillary, etc. it’s their turn to be like Dole, McCain and Romney - people who have paid their dues to the establishment and will lose against Trump.
He’s owed it just like Hillary was.

If Biden were to somehow win, as tragic as it would be, it could be worse.
