Actor Luke Perry, who gained fame as a teen heartthrob on "Beverly Hills, 90210" and became a fan-favorite TV dad with his starring role on the hit series "Riverdale," has died at age 52 after suffering a massive stroke.
"He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends," Perry's publicist Arnold Robinson told Fox News Monday. "The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning."

Coke will do that for ya.
It feels like yesterday he was a young whippersnapper on that show all the teenyboppers flocked too. Man this makes me feel ancient.
He read Stephen and Judas in the Word of Promise NKJV Bible production.
When I think of letting the ‘90’s just die, I’m not hoping for people to die, just the overall “rerun” of ‘90’s we seem to be seeing.

I’ve not heard any reports of drug use in him, checked
I really enjoyed his performance in ‘8 Seconds’.
Mourning at the Peach Pit
Just about the same age John Ritter passed away at but JR had an aortic aneurysm rupture. Uncontrolled hypertension can lead to heart attacks, strokes and aneurysms. Could have been a factor regarding Luke Perry.
He was supposedly a spokesman for colonoscopies (having had one about 4 years ago that uncovered some stuff) so I dont think he was unchecked that way.
He definitely had something seriously wrong, lurking underneath the surface. I’m surprised his dr didn’t catch and get him on meds/or refer him to a cardiologist.
He was great in the short lived Jeremiah.
A very good friend of mine just had a stroke in his 50s. He’s recovering well, thankfully. The doctors have no idea what caused it, every test shows all his systems to be in peak condition. Sometimes it just can’t be prevented.
Have you see Riverdale’s Ms Grundy? Sarah Habel ?
The Archie reboot isn’t for teenyboppers. It’s dark and brooding and there’s more drama.
There are no news reports of any drug activity for Luke Perry, no arrests, nothing.
You just feel like casting aspersions on people who can't defend themselves, in literally the hours when those that loved him are grieving?
I'm not exactly grieving, but someone very close to me passed of a stroke, similar to how Mr. Perry died, so yeah, I feel sad. Are you going to be a big brave internet troll and tell me that my relative did coke too?
He sure hasn’t aged well, at 52.
