POTOMAC, Md. (ABC7) — An unemployed millennial threw a telephone at her mother's head because her mom declined to drive her to a yoga class, Montgomery County Police allege in court documents obtained by ABC7.
Holly Albert, 30, of the 12500 block of Northline Court in Potomac, Md., is charged with second-degree assault.
In August 2017, Albert's mother called 911 to report a domestic violence incident. Responding officers arrived at the family's single-family home and found Albert's mother with a blood-saturated shirt and hair that was "matted down with blood."
Albert's mother told police that her daughter wanted to attend an afternoon yoga class for meditative purposes. When Albert's mother declined to drive her there, the 30-year-old allegedly became irate, shouted insults, grabbed a house phone and chucked it directly at her mom's head.
Albert's mother — whose head was turned the other way — suffered a cut that caused a "large amount of bleeding." Ironically enough, she used that phone to call police as her daughter fled.

my daughter was not one for rules or helping out around the house and disrespectful....she left at 16...been paying her own way ever since.

I tell parents to let them go. Even though one is legally responsible there are no laws to compel a child to stay and the police will just laugh.
Have the kid emancipate for one’s own protection from liability and let him go.
