We all know our President is in Vietnam meeting with the North Korean leader. North Korea has been a threat in the world for a very long time.
My wife and I were up early to see the event on television. We watched the initial face to face. It went quite well. I thought both men looked much more relaxed than the last time in June of 2018 at the Singapore Summit.
FoxNews handled the event with respect and earnestness.
Over on CNN it was quite different. It was a striking display of just how destructive CNN chooses to be. They cannot show enough disrespect for this President, for the people of America, and for the efforts toward a more peaceful world than they are this morning.
On their screen all morning long has been a countdown to Michael Cohen’s testimony at 10 a.m. EST
It read: Live on CNN -- Michael Cohen Testifies …… hours, minutes, and breathless seconds are displayed.
CNN can go no lower trying to undermine our President and the citizens of this country and the world. These media cretans are grotesque.

I’d couldn’t top your headline or agree with it more. Let’s just hope that their tactics have the opposite effect and opens eyes previously shut.

The fundamental problem the people have is deeper than the “silent coup,” terrible as it is. The fundamental problem is the “coup” which was perpetrated before we were born. Namely, the fact that journalists, being “people of the same trade,” and continually “meeting together” (virtually, via the AP “wire” and all other wire services) have instituted a conspiracy against the public.That conspiracy works to con the public into believing that journalists are wiser than other people. They don’t use that word, of course, but use claiming their own objectivity as a euphemism for claiming their own wisdom. They do this, knowing full well that they actually are systematically negative towards society. “Negativity is objectivity” only if you are a cynic.

It doesn’t look good, because the people that would have to be the ones to engage are young adults, and a significant percentage of those young adults seem to be part of the problem.
They voted to allow the murder of innocent babies born alive, but are against the death penalty for guilty people convicted of capital crimes, with the convictions upheld through decades of appeals and judicial reviews.

When a republican is at bat and crowds the plate, the democrat has no problem head hunting. Even when the republican backs off the plate, the rat will again throw one high and inside to make sure his message is heard.
When a democrat is at bat and crowds the plate, the republican will try to avoid hitting the democrat, so much to say he will give the rat a free pass rather than pitch inside to him. And if he tries to go inside, the rat will find a way to step in and get hit by the pitch, effectively taking one for the team.
