Don't watch the Oscars tonight.
“Empty Garden” was probably his last real good song, that was the one written after John Lennon’s murder.
It isn’t on my wavelength.
No one could pay me enough to watch it.

And it makes me nauseous just to think about the Oscars.

The Oscars used to be a "must see" event which our entire family looked forward to and saw on an annual basis, but no longer. Hollyweird hates us and hates America.

Same here, Tumble Weed Connection was a fantastic album. I bought Madman Across The Water after TC and was disappointed.
About that time he came out as a fag so I was through with him anyway.

He came out as gay in 1976.
IIRC he came out as Bi in 1976. He didn’t say he was full-blown gay until the 90s.
I haven’t gone to see a movie at a theater since 2005.
My big problem as one with ear issues, the theater is too damn loud ! I had to keep my fingers in my ears the whole time and it still was too loud. :-(

I quit watching the Oscars sometime in the middle 70’s. Now I realize it was a good decision.
