Wisconsin high school cheerleaders received awards for biggest breasts, butt at banquet

A Wisconsin high school has reportedly come under fire for a cheerleading award ceremony last year that saw some of the teens win accolades such as the “Big Boobie” and “Big Booty” awards.

Appalled parents contacted the American Civil Liberties Union and on Tuesday the group sent a warning to the Kenosha Unified School District that it might file a lawsuit over Tremper High School’s mock awards ceremony, The New York Times reported

The ACLU accused the cheerleading coaches at the school of making inappropriate comments toward the students and claimed the district was “enabling sexual harassment,” the Times reported. The group called on the district to take appropriate action against the coaches.

Tremper High School cheerleading coaches gave out awards to a girl for her supposedly “enormous boobs” and a “Big Booty” award to another because “everybody loves her butt.” A freshman cheerleader also received the “String Bean” award because she was “so light and skinny.”

“Tremper High School”

They misspelled “Trumper.” We all know who to blame for this contest.

This information is from a school review site. Am I surprised to see that this school is a very low performing school? To me, it's a shame that the girls in this school need to get their self esteem by degrading themselves as a body part commonly ogled by men as though they were pieces of meat and not a total living human being, rather than by high academic achievement and the subsequent pride.

The percentage of students achieving proficiency in Math is 21% (which is lower than the Wisconsin state average of 43%) for the 2015-16 school year. The percentage of students achieving proficiency in Reading/Language Arts is 35% (which is lower than the Wisconsin state average of 44%) for the 2015-16 school year.

Tremper High School placed in the bottom 50% of all schools in Wisconsin for overall test scores (math proficiency is bottom 50%, and reading proficiency is bottom 50%) for the 2015-16 school year.

The student:teacher ratio of 19:1 is higher than the Wisconsin state level of 15:1. Minority enrollment is 37% of the student body (majority Hispanic), which is higher than the Wisconsin state average of 29%.

In my high school, football coaches also had to teach so one of them taught my biology class. One well-rounded young lady named Dolly was in that class and the coach/teacher singled her out as a candidate for the Chess Team.

“But coach,” she said, “I don’t know anything about chess.”

“Oh, chess!,” deadpanned the coach. “What was I thinking?”

Yeah, that was 1975...

You said it well. I had the same reaction as well.

When I was in my mid 20s I met a very nice young woman named “Bobbi” who happened to be very well endowed. Her nickname in high school was “Boobie” and she really suffered emotionally for that. Here it is 43 years later and I still remember the hurt she carried with her.

The poor girl in this Wisconsin high school will carry the same hurt.

My luck! I went to an all boys high school, all 3,000 of them. The locker room scenes would blind you.

And parents called the ACLU. What the crap does the ACLU have to do with a school event? Give the commies an inch and they’ll conquer another country.

They look like completely normal girls. My guess is they ignore politics and just live healthy lives, so they didn't know how insane the left has become. Someone is going to lose her job because one freak complained, and I find that sad.
