This information is from a school review site. Am I surprised to see that this school is a very low performing school? To me, it's a shame that the girls in this school need to get their self esteem by degrading themselves as a body part commonly ogled by men as though they were pieces of meat and not a total living human being, rather than by high academic achievement and the subsequent pride.

The percentage of students achieving proficiency in Math is 21% (which is lower than the Wisconsin state average of 43%) for the 2015-16 school year. The percentage of students achieving proficiency in Reading/Language Arts is 35% (which is lower than the Wisconsin state average of 44%) for the 2015-16 school year.

Tremper High School placed in the bottom 50% of all schools in Wisconsin for overall test scores (math proficiency is bottom 50%, and reading proficiency is bottom 50%) for the 2015-16 school year.

The student:teacher ratio of 19:1 is higher than the Wisconsin state level of 15:1. Minority enrollment is 37% of the student body (majority Hispanic), which is higher than the Wisconsin state average of 29%.

You said it well. I had the same reaction as well.

When I was in my mid 20s I met a very nice young woman named “Bobbi” who happened to be very well endowed. Her nickname in high school was “Boobie” and she really suffered emotionally for that. Here it is 43 years later and I still remember the hurt she carried with her.

The poor girl in this Wisconsin high school will carry the same hurt.

Well, it is named after a porcelain covered, vitreous ceramic company.
